Sensitive Information and Email Don't Mix!
|
While email is a convenient form of communication, it is not considered a secure form of communication in most circumstances. Avoid sending sensitive information in email (social security numbers, banking information, medical information).
Instead, Whitman provides account holders with a service that enables secure document sharing via authenticated and expiring links–available at sharefile.whitman.edu. Be sure to to use the "SSO Login" (Single Sign-On) button at the bottom of the page instead of the username/password field. More information about this service can be found in the WCTC Knowledge Base.
