Join the Career and Community Engagement Center (CCEC) for a two-day job and internship fair. You will meet an array of Pacific Northwest-based employers who are searching for top talent to work for them this summer, whether it’s a job, internship or volunteer opportunity. With a total of 42 employers registered to attend and no overlap of employers either day, each day will bring new faces, industries and summer employment ideas.

The in-person event will start at 11:30 a.m. on Monday, March 7, in the Reid Ballroom. You can register to attend on Handshake and view the list of employers attending.

The virtual event will be held from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Tuesday, March 8, on Handshake. Once you register, you’ll be able to build your schedule of one-to-one and/or group sessions with employers. Individual sessions are perfect for direct networking and specific questions, while group sessions are great for learning about company culture and application processes.

The CCEC wants you to launch into this summer with a strong start. To prepare, they recommend scheduling a resume and cover letter review with a career coach or Student Career Advisor, doing some quick research on the employers attending and taking advantage of the myriad of job and career resources available to you on the CCEC website.

Your Student Career Advisors are ready to help with questions—check out their drop-in schedule. And, as always, you can email ccec_info@whitman.edu for assistance in any part of the registration process.
