You’ve Been Challenged!

It’s a sweet time to be a Whittie! We are eager to welcome our incoming Class of 2026 and give them a taste of what life is like in our community.

Join us in welcoming them by participating in the Onion Challenge. All you have to do is take a photo or short video of yourself biting into a Walla Walla Sweet Onion and send it to Kathia Jimenez, our social media specialist. You'll have a chance to be featured on the Whitman College social media pages to welcome incoming Whitties! Or just post to your favorite social media platform with the #WhittieSweetLife hashtag!

Incoming first-year and transfer students will soon receive their boxes of Walla Walla Sweets and will share how they enjoy these world-famous onions.

Ready, set, go!
