Register Your Bike Today

Students, bike registration is now required! Don't miss this opportunity to have the cost covered by Whitman.

The Office of Sustainability, Residence Life, and Security partner to facilitate student bike licensing, which is now required under Whitman’s Bicycle Policy. During the first two weeks of each semester (or in this case, the first month in which we are initiating the program), Whitman will cover the cost of licensing one bike per each student who has not previously licensed a bike through this program. Bicycling licensing in Walla Walla costs $5 through the City. Licensing your bike helps keep it safe in case it needs to be moved or it is lost or stolen. Once your license registration has been processed, you will receive via campus mail a City of Walla Walla bicycle license sticker and instructions on how to apply the sticker to your bike.

Thank you for doing your part to follow our policy and create a safe biking environment at Whitman. Please complete this form to register your bike.

COVID-19 Cases on Campus

Positive COVID-19 cases in our campus community are noted in Whitman Today in compliance with state regulations. We also update the data in our COVID-19 Dashboard every Monday.

In accordance with Washington state Labor & Industries employer requirements, we are notifying the campus community that in the past 24 hours, four people with Whitman access were confirmed positive for COVID-19. These people are now in isolation in accordance with our campus and CDC guidelines. Though the likelihood of transmission is low due to our campus COVID-19 protocols, it is possible that others may have been exposed to COVID-19. There is nothing you need to do at this time aside from following our campus COVID-19 protocols. Anyone identified through the contact tracing process as a close contact (within 6 ft. for at least 15 minutes over 24 hours) will be personally notified.
