Native Women Changing Their Worlds

Patricia Cutright with dark hair, wearing a green, black and white scarf, standing in front of a shelf full of books

Penrose Library will host an author talk and book reading tonight at 6 p.m. in the Allen Reading Room.

Patricia Cutright is Lakota and an enrolled member of the Cheyenne River Sioux Tribe. She will be reading from her book “Native Women Changing Their Worlds,” which follows the true stories of 12 Native American and First Nations women who are changemakers and advocates in their communities. Copies of the book will be available for purchase and a book signing and reception will follow.

Lindsey Pasena-Littlesky ’26 will also be joining this event to discuss her local and national work on dam removal and salmon habitat restoration.

The event is free and open to the public.
