Marshal K. McReal ’84, Leigh Ann Lucero ’91, and Aaron Perrine ’99 are the newest members of the Whitman College Board of Trustees. All three joined July 1.

Whitman Climbing Team are NC3 Champs!

Congratulations to the Whitman College Climbing Team for winning the 2022 Northwest Collegiate Climbing Circuit (NC3) championship! This is the first climbing championship for Whitman since 2018. In addition, several individuals won honors–all first year students. With young team members, the climbing team looks forward to very strong team performances the next few years.

Thomas Publishes Debut Poetry Book

Lee Thomas '23 recently published their debut poetry chapbook, Everything is Temporary, This Too Shall Rot. The Rhetoric, Writing, and Public Discourse major works their way through self-reflection and finds purpose and meaning in their poems.

The deadline for submissions is noon Thursday for the following week's newsletter, though submissions may be held for a later date according to space and editorial needs.
