Thank You for Going All In for Whitman!

This year's All In for Whitman campaign raised nearly $1 million from generous donors!

  • Reaching the goal of 1,500 donors unlocked $225,000 in matching gifts
  • $644,866 in gifts were designated for The Whitman Fund's Greatest Needs and Scholarship & Student Aid
  • Donors contributed more than $74,000 for W Club (varsity athletics)

  • Parent donors unlocked a matching gift of $25,000

Cross Country Finishes Strong at Whitman Invitational

The Whitman College cross country teams recently hosted their first Whitman Invitational in more than a decade. Both men's and women's teams finished in second place, and Whitman juniors Gabe Wasserman and Ally Kim posted top five finishes. The Blues will compete next on Saturday, Oct. 15 at the Lewis & Clark Invitational.

Learn to Make Mojigangas Puppets

The Intercultural Center invites you to learn how to make Mojigangas puppets, tonight at 5 p.m. in Glover Alston Center. These puppets will be used in the upcoming Festival de Cultura Viva community event on Sunday, Oct. 16. 

 

Limited Pools Hours This Weekend

Harvey Pool will observe limited hours this weekend to allow student lifeguards to take some time off.

  • Thursday-Saturday: 11 a.m. - 1 p.m.
  • Sunday: 11 a.m. - 1 p.m. and 7-9 p.m.

Normal operating hours resume Monday, Oct. 10.

 

Reid Campus Center Closes Early This Weekend

Reid Campus Center will close at 8 p.m. tonight, Friday and Saturday. Normal operating hours resume Sunday, Oct. 9.

 

Reduced Library Hours Today and Tomorrow

Reduced Penrose Library hours:

  • Thursday: 9 a.m. to 10 p.m.
  • Friday: 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Normal operating hours resume Saturday, Oct. 8.

Daily COVID-19 Update

In accordance with Washington state Labor & Industries employer requirements, we are notifying the campus community that since yesterday, no one with Whitman access was confirmed positive for COVID-19. 

 

Please continue to follow all our campus COVID-19 protocols to help prevent transmission. If you have any symptoms that may be COVID-19 or know that you may have been exposed to coronavirus, please be tested. Additional masks and rapid test kits are available 7:30-11:30 a.m. and 1:30-4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, at the Welty Student Health Center.
