One Week! Whitman Undergraduate Conference

Whitman Undergraduate Conference banner, which shows an upraised hand holding weighing scales in front of a globa, icebergs, an oil rig and other symbols of climate change.

Next Tuesday, April 12, you are invited to the 24th annual Whitman Undergraduate Conference (WUC), a celebration of the research, scholarship and creativity.

This year’s hybrid conference provides presenters with the opportunity to share their research with the Whitman community, as well as with community partners, alumni, family and friends near and far. Panel sessions will take place in various venues across campus and will be livestreamed via Zoom. In-person poster presentations will be held in the foyer of Cordiner Hall.

Visit the WUC website for the full schedule and list of presentations.

If you're not presenting at WUC, you can still be part of supporting this unique event. To help ensure the conference runs smoothly, the conference committee is seeking volunteers to serve as room monitors for the panel sessions and musical performances. Volunteers will attend training sessions to learn the check-in process and to review other responsibilities. If you would like to volunteer, please fill out this short Google Form.
