This month there are two great opportunities for members of the Whitman community to volunteer as welcoming ambassadors for the college.
This week, on Friday, August 11, the Office of Admission will host the final Discover Whitman Day of the summer. Midmorning, you can volunteer to escort prospective students and their families as they move between information sessions, and at lunchtime you can enjoy a meal with them in Cleveland Commons where you will have more time to visit and share about your Whitman experience. Sign up here.
Wednesday, August 23 is Opening Day! This is one of the most exciting days of the year as new students arrive on campus. Volunteers are needed to direct traffic, check students in and help carry boxes as they move into their new rooms. Sign up here.
Volunteer for one or both as your schedule allows!
