Tuesday Tech Tip

Protect Your Whitman Account with Duo

Whitman College has partnered with Duo Security to increase security on college-issued accounts through multi-factor authentication (MFA).

All Whitman account holders are strongly encouraged to add this protection to your account as soon as possible (sign up here). Our goal is to have all employee accounts protected before spring break, and all student accounts will be upgraded during fall semester.

This added protection makes it much more difficult to compromise your account, even if bad actors get your password. For more information, read this FAQ or contact the Information Security Office. Safe computing!
