Cleveland Commons is Blue Zones Project Approved

Last week, a ribbon cutting ceremony was held at Cleveland Commons, celebrating the fact that it now qualifies as a “Blue Zones Project Approved” restaurant.

As a company, Bon Appétit (which operates Cleveland Commons) takes a plant-forward approach to food, using simple, delicious ingredients to create healthy meal options.

Rebecca Thorpe, Engagement Lead with Blue Zones Project - Walla Walla Valley, congratulated the Cleveland Commons staff for their excellent work: “What you are doing here is phenomenal.”

Congratulations to Chef Jon Sodini and the whole Cleveland Commons crew for making it easier to eat healthier on campus!

2023 Baccalaureate Ceremony

The Commencement weekend tradition of a Baccalaureate ceremony continues this Saturday, May 20 at 2:30 p.m. in Chism Recital Hall in the Hall of Music. The format has been updated this year into a celebration featuring music, readings, prayers and reflections from a wide range of religious traditions, including humanist and nonreligious perspectives. It is an opportunity to gather in community around whatever each of us finds meaningful or sacred—for those of all faith traditions, for those of no faith tradition and for everyone in between.
